Jay walked around the street, in front of his house. Today his 'half-dad' was bringing his sister to him. He hadn't seen her in maybe 5 years. Just enough time to remember her, luckily they weren't total strangers. They would be arriving by car, he assumed.
Looking at his feet as he made circles in the middle of the night on the after rained NY street.

Julia wasn't exactly sure what to think of all of this. Sure, it was going to be new. Exciting. Blah. Blah. And sure, she wanted to branch out and all of that. But she hadn't seen her brother in... five years. Since they were twelve. She didn't remember too much about him, but enough to remember him. She sighed, looking out the window of the towncar that she and her father were riding in.
The car pulled to a stop and Julia looked out the window, a small smirk of anticipation on her face. She missed her brother, and was glad to be seeing him. But underneath it all, Julia wasn't sure how she'd fare without her parents. Sure, she's have acess to money, but not as much sheltering.
Julia stepped out of the car as the door was opened, smoothing the jeans she was wearing as she looked at the man standing there. "Jay?"

Jay saw the car pull up but there had been many cars since he'd been out here. When he heard a voice and his name added to that he looked up and saw his sister; big sister.
A smile planted on his face he walked up to her with open arms, to give her a hug. When he was 12 he was dinky and skinny. Now he had shown to fill out a little, not fat just chubby. Her on the other hand to great.
Hey, Julia. Long time no talk eh? How've ya been? he asked as he squeezed her just a tad tighter in his embrace.
He was happy to see his sister, more then ever. Realizing his rude sensation he invited her and her father in the small apartment he was renting. It was a one bedroom but he had moved his stuff out of his room so he could sleep on the couch and she could have the bed. That he didn't mind at all, he'd rather be the 1st shot when a burglar came through the door anyway.

Julia smiled as her brother walked towards her with open arms. He had certainly changed from when they were twelve. Julia had probably done nothing but stretch up. She always had a dancer's body, knowing that theatre was what she wanted to do. She embraced him, chuckling.
"I'm good. Just the normal. I'm quitting the performing arts school for a real high school for senior year. How are you, little brother?" She snickered. They were only a few months apart, but it was still enough. Still, it was a little weird. Her father had been with someone else seriously enough to have a child before he married her mom. And that was weird.
Following him into the apartment, Julia carried the suitcases she had. The apartment was definately a change from the penthouse living she was used to. She smiled. This was going to be fun.

He let go of the hug and looked back at the man that was his 'father'. Since Jay was younger, he was living proof that his father was a player. He didn't like any of the older side of the family, just the ones his age or younger.
He walked her inside. As he walked he looked over at her Why your quiting? he asked in a small surprised way.
He had missed her a lot, it was going to be nice not having just Gary and Joe for company. The place was neat and nice for an apartment. He made money so it wasn't going to be a dump hole.
ooc does she have a guy friend? i have one but ud have to hurry on him. joe is the guy.

The surprise in her brother's voice brought another small smirk to Julia's face. Really, it made no sense. It was one of the best schools around if you wanted to do theatre. But with Julia's backround, she would get into most theatre programs in college. And family connections could help as always.
"I want to try and be normal. No being worshiped because my mom is big on broadway. Not being asked to sing the same thing over and over because I was in the show a year ago. You know. And I don't think it'll be hard at all for me to get into college for theatre."
It was almost funny. Coming from the same father, who did real estate, and the two teens were both very into music. Albeit different types of music. Very different.
OOC: Nope. No guy friend yet [as in boyfriend, right?].

Jay listened to his sister intently. His life hand already started but yet it seemed like she was starting first. She was working for her goal, his kinda just came to him through the pub and garage bands.
He helped her with her stuff putting it in the room she'd be staying in.
Yes, a real estate agent with two kids that love music. He had thought about that just as she did, without knowing.

Julia sometimes really didn't think what she and her brother did was a job. Performing... It was fun. Sure, she understood how much work went into it. She spent a good year preparing for the last show she had been in. Learning the songs, the lines, the dances... And then just as much time performing the same thing over and over.
"Thanks." Julia said, smiling at her brother as he helped move her stuff into the room. "Are you sure your're good with the couch?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. It felt weird. She was just getting dumped on him, and he was the one giving up his bed.
Julia looked out at their father, raising the other eyebrow in a gesture that was meant to send him away. The blonde really didn't want to get into anything with him. Better that he just leave and she would see him next when she headed back home for a visit. A few minutes later she heard the door close. Well, that was a bit better.
"So, what have you been doing? Last I heard... Weren't you trying to start a band or something?" She asked, running a hand through her hair.
OOC: Yeah, I like the character. Do you just want me to post in his plot? Or do you want to RP?

He walked back in the living room and offered her to sit down. No, it's fine. I want the couch actually now that your here. he ment by danger. The last thing he'd want was something to happen to her on his watch.
Yeah, we're a band now... We have another tour starting next week. Your welcome to join the gang and tag along he smiled. The guys wouldn't mind and as for Joe, he would just be silent around her, that's how he was.
ooc haha ok we'll just do this.. have her go and they get to know each other on tour

Julia took a seat, stretching for a moment. "Aw. You're such a protective little brother." She said, reaching out and ruffling his hair. A laugh escaped her lips as she did so, but it was just fun.
"I'n glad you got it together. Really, life on the stage is so much better than life anywhere else. Even though, hopefully, I won't be in many touring casts." Julia would much rather be able to spend her life in New York and just work on Broadway. "The tour sounds fun. School can wait." She laughed. Really, senior year was just a formality at this point. She had her schools picked out, she just had to audition.
OOC: Righto

Jay nodded his head That I am yet he gave her a pissy look when she messed up his neatly spiked hair, although he really wasnt that mad. He wasnt like that at all. The boys will be here later tonight he said to maybe suprise. And dont you get any idea, these guys arent relationship type he laughed thinking about his buddies and the band.
He was of course lying. Gary wanted a girl but he knew Joe needed one when he didnt want one. We're hedding there on bus so we can detour for about a week. Get ready to leave tomorrow afternoon

Julia laughed even more when her brother got a little upset. She missed having a sibling. This was fun. Maybe the whole 'moving out of the parent's house' thing would turn out better than expected. She had almost forgotten how much fun it was to mess around with her brother.
"Ooooh. The boys. I can't wait to meet them!" She smirked, rolling her eyes when he said that none of them were relationship material. "My parents warn me to never date musicians. I make a point of disobeying that rule every chance I get." Her last boyfriend had been a drummer at her last school.
"I just won't unpack anything, and I'm good." She said, shrugging her shoulders. Really, everthing the blonde needed was in her suitcases, so if she just left it all in there and then took those, everything would be alright.

Jay got a kick out of her sister interest in the boys. Their ugly anyways he smiled as he turned on the TV to a FOX program.
You shouldn't date musicians he said just so she'd leave the guys alone. He didn't want her to get hurt.
Even though she was older he felt more inclined to protect her. It was hard for him to just let things pass.
His cell rang, it had been Gary. They talked about when he'd be arriving and then hung up. Remember Gary? Your half second cousin? he asked, he was family. He's our lead singer
~
A few hours passed and a knock came at the door. Reaching out ot open it, it was Joe and Gary. C'mon in you guys he said letting them have a way in.
Gary looked at Julia and smiled Do I know you he asked out of remembrance. He went and sat next to her, but not uncomfortably close.
Joe seemed to avoid eye contact and went and sat on the lazy boy. He looked nervous, it was just Joe.
Jay shook his head and looked back at Julia hoping there was no attraction in him.

"I'm sure they're not ugly." Julia said, rolling her eyes again. Said eyes moved to the TV, though she wasn't really watching it. Julia had never really been one for television.
"Why shouldn't I date a musician?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. After all, they were both musicians, technically. And if he said something bad about musicians, it would be saying something bad about both of them. Not like she really cared. And it wasn't as if her brother could really control who she dated. After all, he was younger.
But she understood why he was trying to be protective. Maybe it was just a guy thing. It would take getting used to, but she'd adjust. "Well, if I don't date musicians, maybe I'll just hook up with random guys on the road." She joked , laughing after so he knew it was a joke.
After his phone call, Julia shrugged. "I remember him a little. Not too much though. I haven't really been connected to your side of the family that much, remember." Her mother wasn't really the biggest fan of her half-brother and his family.
And after an hour or so of random conversation and television, the boys arrived. Julia smiled, running a hand through her hair again. It was a nerve thing. And not that she was really nervous, she just wanted her brother's friends to like her. She smiled at Gary, offering a hand. "Kind of. I'm Julia. Jay is my half brother. And I'm living here now." Hopefully Gary remembered her.
Her eyes travelled over to Joe, a sheepish look coming over her face. He was cute. Her brother was totally wrong. She quickly moved her eyes away. She'd talk to him later. He looked a little nervous, awkward, but it was cute.

Jay knew they weren't ugly, he just wanted to say that so she wouldn't get any wise ideas but yet when she saw then she'd have her own opinion. It was hard for him, as her brother, to have her date his best friends cause if she or he did something to the other, he wouldn't know what to do, where to go and who to blame.
Jay listened to her dating musicians argument and shrugged his broad shoulders. They obsess over their work and pay little head to anything else. Most men musicians can't multitask so having a girlfriend is bad, let alone a family. Another reason he was single, touring was easier to leave home behind and just pack up his dog and go.
A random guy? They'll probably do you better he laughed as he looked up at the clock to estimate how much longer after the call the guys would get here.
Yeah, Gary was the blonde, scrawny little blue eyed squeaky toned one. Jay added. He knew she wasn't much into his part of the, family, hell he barely was either. As of of a a few years ago, 1 1/2 to be precise, he hadn't talked o anyone on their side but Gary. Joe wasn't related.
As the boys made their way inside Gary proceeded Jay's sister, rite? he asked a hint of a smile on his face.
As of Joe he didn't say anything. Jay looked over at his 'mate' and went and jumped in his lap. Joe made a grunting noise before and as he landed on him. Jay he pushed him off Get off he said, using his hands to keep Jay away from his body was far as he could.
If anyone came to notice, Jay seemed to be easy with Joe, when he flew in his lap he used a gliding technique to land softer then a flying technique.
Where's Jake? Gary asked looking around the room they were in.
It was just then Jay forgot to introduce her to Jake but he had good reason. He's snoozing Jay said looking up to his cousin.

"So for all of the protective brother stuff, you'd let me have sex with some random guy on tour?" Julia asked, laughing again. She hadn't been here for long, and already she was having more fun than she would be at home.
When Gary asked if she was Jay's sister, she smiled. "Half sister, really. But whatever." The smile was still on her face, though she was paying more attention to Joe than anyone else.
She laughed slightly when her brother jumped on his friend, then made her way over to Joe. "Hey, I'm Julia." She said, sticking out a hand.

Jay shook his head. There was no way in hell he'd let his sister do that. Are you kidding me? he asked as if he thought she might actually be joking.
When Jay got off Joe, Joe looked at her hand and then her. Was it his fault he was so scared? He shook her hand softly, his soft hands grazing hers'. This wasn't so bad but still the fear struck. Not just of her but people in general. He watched her every move. She was attractive but his fear road over that light a flyin' bronco. Joe he replied simply.
Jay looked at the two and elbowed Gary. Gary noticed it as well and smirked to himself. This was too good to be true. Even a blind person could see they were both attracted.
