Jay walked through the crowded subway, it seemed that everyone was in a rush to get somewhere. He had a blank face. Today had not been a good one. Thoughts had been blaring through his mind like the wicked train he was about to enter. Not yet, it wasn't here. He stood hands in his jeans and his red shirt waved from the other trains rushing by, causing a slight windstorm. His hair reached to the sky as high as it could, eyes looking down at the ground below him; his feet.
The roar came and there was his train, nearly empty at first but it filled up 1/3 of the way remotely fast. He took a seat and got comfortable. This was a good long 40 minute ride to his destination. He though about his past today, it crowded him like crazy, haunting him maybe? It all started when he saw a small child, a little girl. She looked like the girl he had taken the life of. That was earlier today... After that he started thinking of all the wrongs.
The train loaded up again but now Jay stood to let a lady sit in his seat. He held onto the pole next to him and then gazed at his sweatbands and watch. All spendy but hey, he had the money to spend... he wasn't supporting a family.
The wrongs came back when the train came to a top speed. He remembered her throwing things like mad, screaming at him to get away or she'll call the cops. He loved her and he though she loved him. Obviously not... Then months later she came back to him on his doorstep. Not to say sorry but to hand him a baby, a boy, his boy, their son. She didn't want him, not with Jay's blood pounding through his veins.
The shot of the gun, the pound of her throwing things, the cry of the baby. It seemed to be real, he could hear it in his head. Jolting out of the thoughts he looked back to the ground. A tear escaping his blue eyes.

Rachel walked onto the subway car, her new Ipod - which she had saved to buy for herself - was blasting music into her ears at top volume. She was listening to a Rascal Flatts song, and had been sucking on a lollipop as well. She walked down the train a bit, trying to find a less crowded car but not succeeding greatly - so she just stopped looking and held onto the pole as the train started.
Surprised, Rachel looked up when she realized that she had placed her hand a top of someone elses. She was in basic shock when she saw who it was - Jay DeMarcus from Rascal Flatts. Rachel almost squealed, but remembered that her hand was on his and quickly removed it. Cautiously, she turned down the volume on her Ipod and looked up at him. She was so happy and surprised that she just couldn't form words.

Laughter Jay looked up when he saw a figure walk in front of him to take some space, he stepped back a little as well as looking back down to the ground as he did so. That is when he felt the hand on his and looked back up and gave an 'it's alright' smile. I'm sorry he said trying to get in in before she did. Let's face it, when he moved he should have though about his hand instead of just his body.
Jay wasn't in the best of moods today, not mean just well... depressed. He hadn't had the greatest week. The publishers for the CD, Lyric Street was tossing them crap and well he just took the train to get away from that and closest to hell as he could. What would the difference be?

Rachel's mind started to race - Jay DeMarcus.. The Jay DeMarcus, had just apologized to her - for something that truly wasn't his fault, or so she figured. "No, no, I'm sorry - I wasn't looking," Rachel managed to say though she was so sadly, obviously star struck.
But then again, it wasn't everyday you got to meet your favorite celebrity - more like, your celebrity crush. And it wasn't like his totally gorgeous self looked any less gorgeous in person, in fact he looked even more gorgeous than Rachel could ever have hoped for. She just wished that she could get her mouth to work and form words.

Jay looked at her, she obviously knew who he was and decided to perk up a bit, he knew how it was as a kid when your favorite person was a jerk-off. He moved his hand to a lower pole and kept eye contact with her.
I think we both made a mistake he said trying make the fight over faults even. She was attractive, to him at least. His eyes kept on hers. She was nervous that he could tell. Should I start a conversation? he asked himself. Pushing it on he signaled ahead of them Where you headin'? he carried a southern accent from being raised in the sweet town of the most popularity of country music, Nashville.

Rachel couldn't make words form, but nodded to respond. Why was she so star-struck? Maybe because he was her favorite celebrity, her celebrity crush? But, even still, Rachel had never been tongue-tied in front of any other of her other crushes. 'But he's not any of my other crushes.. He's the Jay DeMarcus,' Rachel thought to herself, before she realized that he had asked her a question.
"Canal," Rachel said with absolutely no stutter or nervousness in her voice - or she hoped. "What about you?" She could not believe she was actually talking to Jay DeMarcus.

Joe Don, Gary LeVox, Jay DeMarcus He looked out the window of the train, they were flyin'. His blue eyes turned back to her's when he realized she had answered his question. Where was he going? Insane he smiled with a moment of widened eyes then going back to normal.
Weren't they all going insane? he thought to himself. Naww I'm just goin', not destination really he murmured to her as he moved his feet to situate him in the turn the train was making. He had to look down to be sure he didn't step on anyone's toes.

Rachel laughed a little when he said that he was going insane. "Oh that would be very difficult to believe, and I'd be oh so sad if you were completely and totally insane," Rachel said with a smile as she looked up at him. And it was complete truth what she told him, dance was her reason for living and Jay DeMarcus just happened to be her reason for loving. Rachel was just about to reply as the train turned, and she had to move herself so that she didn't get thrown down the train. When she had re stationed her feet, she wasn't sure what she was going to say.
'That's really too bad.. Since I had just gained control over my forming words,' Rachel thought, almost glumly, to herself.

Jay looked over at a kid sitting in a seat, he must have been 15 or so he took a few steps back and waved him out of the seat Hey punk he joked Let the lady sit he said as the kid easily got up and went to go stand elsewhere.
Jay moved to the side, so she could snag the seat. He thought it was rude of the kid to go ahead do something like that where there were trillions of people wanting to sit down. Some older others sex differences.
Now don't you say you wanna stand he smiled looking at the seat and then her. He made it all nice and warm for ya.

Rachel watched as Jay told a kid, who seemed to be only a few years younger than her, to move so that she could sit. She looked up at him and smiled, "Thank you," she said sweetly as she moved passed him -for he moved over a bit to let her through- and went and sat down.
Rachel looked up at him, still not truly believing that all was real, "I'm Rachel, Rachel Summer Roberts.." She smiled up at him, slowly moving her lollipop out of her mouth and holding it by the stick in her right hand.

Jay looked down at her with a smile as he heard her speak Rachel Summer Roberts eh? he smiled to the length Well how about Stanley Wayne DeMarcus, Jr.? he smiled. It was his real name unfortunately, see why he'd just Jay now?
They still had at least fifteen minutes before they got to their next stop. He looked down at her, eye contact had been made this whole time. He was just and eye contact person, very social and rarely shedding a mean hair.

"Well, everyone should know who you are," Rachel blushed as she looked up at him - she had turned her Ipod off a while ago, but not before bumping into Jay. She realized that he had introduced himself using his real name, and though she knew that it was in fact his birth certificate name, it was a bit of a surprise.
Throughout the entirety of the time they had been talking, Jay had kept up eye contact. And Rachel was not about to complain, she thought it was very sweet and very gentleman-ly. She wondered how Julian and Duskie would react when she told them that she had met Jay DeMarcus.

He shook his head with a laughing grin. Although it wasn't in a mean way the gesture is what told a person who they were and he was all over having fun. No, not everyone knows... There are some anti-country people out there, which is acceptable. If there weren't no other genre would have a job. He knew if everyone liked everything that country just may hit the top of the genre charts.
He looked down as if maybe Shyness? no, not Jay, he was never shy, or was he?
Truth be told he was, she was something, attractive maybe? No, he couldn't do this to himself or her. He'd already done it, he already had a life to live for, he didn't need another, did he?
Only did his eye contact flush when he blushed but other then that he looked rite into her eyes for long periods of times.
He had striking blue eyes, rarity amungst others but it wasn't a bad thing. He loved his eyes, he loved himself... Not that he was high on himself but he didn't think he was worth nothing, earlier today he did but that was looked for in everyone.
If he weren't born there would be one life on this world that would have lasted longer, that is one thing he always thought of.
