New York, a city filled with fashion, art and music throughout its streets. Where the people are live with talent, and only seek the resources needed to achieve a goal, or that dream they have had since they were children. Becoming an artist, a singer, a photographer, a dancer, or computer graphics. Even directing their own movie. They dream to be the best, and thus, there has to be the best school for it.

Dream is a four star school of arts within the city of New York, where they prepare their students to achieve and complete their dream. They push their students to work, in order to reach that certain goal they are aiming for. Although, within the walls of Dream, hides secrets.

The academy walls are large, for this academy wasn't always a school. These walls weren't always inhabited by students and teachers. The headmaster didn't always exist. Ten years before Dream was founded, the grounds belonged to an Asylum. An asylum that was mysteriously abandoned. An asylum whose patient's mysteriously vanished. The doctors moved to different sectors of the city, and their identity was secret. Many reports have attempted to gain information, but nobody has even came close to cracking the case of Sunshine Asylum. Not even a patient's family was found. The records of Sunshine Asylum were lost in a rapid fire that consumed the office, and thus....the asylum seemed to have dropped out of radar; as if it didn't exist.

The mystery was left to die away, until Dream Academy was founded in the old asylum walls. Everything was remade, and the castle-like building was place into good use. The founder of this Academy, was ironically, the son of the owner of Sunshine Asylum who died a month before the Asylum was abandoned. Amyas, who has refused to make a public statement about the asylum, is the headmaster of the school. The mystery seems to remain just that; a mystery. Although, many still are curious and still are determine to get to the bottom of the oddities of this particular academy.

People are oblivious of what is behind these walls. The only people that know are the parents, the students and teachers. Behind these tall, and dark walls, lay a heavy kept secret. A secret that cannot be released into the city of New York. Non-human creatures come to this academy to learn; not only about the arts, but about the magical arts. They learn about caring for creatures that aren't your typical cat, or dog, or even lion for that matter. These are mystical beasts. It is unknown what the city of New York would do if this secret would break loose, that is why every student is to swear they won't say a word of their companions identity to anybody outside of the academy. The school holds a bond, a bond that can break with the daily tests students go through while they take their classes.
