Personality: Annette is generally a very friendly and helpfull person. She does not talk that much but when she does, she really has something important to say.

She loves the solitude of the small villages in the country side but unfortunatelly her mother has a job in a huge managment company here, in New York, so Anca is also stuck in the noisy and dirty city. She is not afraid of what might happen to her in the godforsaken place but is more concerned with her mother's health, which is getting worse because of overworking.

Anca is used to getting through tough times alone, without any help. She had been stabbed in th back not once by a person who claims he wants to help her. She is a loner and does not socialize that much at school but she is in no way hostile and treats the others nicely.

It has become an ambition of Annette to become a journalist. She wants to write about what's really going on in the Big Apple - the murders, rapes, road accidents...everything that is kept hidden by the press. This is why she studies hard and does not slack off from school.

She does however, have a problem with smoking. She smokes about a pack of cigarettes daily. Anca has been trying to quit for a year now but it seems almost impossible as 90% of the students in her school smoke on campus.

Distinguishing Marks: Annette has a birth mark on her left shoulder which kind of resembles a leaf. She never takes off the two rubber bracelets on her left arm which say: "Fate loves the fearless" & "Courage"

Self Perception: Annette regards herself as an absolutely avarege teenage girl. She admits her own flaws and has no problem living with them, not bothering to strive for perfection. She does think however that she needs to work hard for her future success in journalism and that's why she devotes most of her free time to write.

She does not think her looks are anything secial, although there are not a lot of blond blue-eyed girls in her school. She dislikes her hair because, as she often jokes, "it looks like straw". On the other hand she particularly likes her eyes and her piercings.

Anca is not particularly picky about her clothes. She shops in Second Hand stores most of the time and has no problem with it, although some of her classmates tend to tease her about it. She is well aware of her family's financial state and is in no way ungratefull of her mother's efford to provide a better life style for her only daughter.

Appearance:Annette is short and slim. Her hair is a dirty blond colour. It is straight and goes all the way to her mid-back. Her eyes are a crystel blue colour. She has tongue piercing and an eyebrow piercing.

When she reads or writes, Annette always wears glasses but since she doesn't need them the rest of the time she doesn't bring them to school.

She wears baggy or torn jeans and cargo pants and she NEVER wears skirts or dresses. She has one favourite anorak - black, with "No Fear" writen on it. She wears trainers or sneakers at all time, which are usually combined with the same kind of T-shirt.

Annette never goes anywhere without her backpack. It is black, with the sign "Ballantines" on the front and is almost covered with badges of her favourite bands. On the zipper of the backpack she has hanged a Snoopy keyholder and a steel plate which says: "To be or not to be...".

Her apperance in general is that of a tomboy. She doesn't rely on her looks as much as she does on her intellegence and people skills. She enjoyes being called "pretty" but does not pay it much mind.

History:
When she was little, Annette's family lived in England. She was happy there because their house was in a small village near Manchester, where the nature was unrealistically beautiful. She was happy back them, more than she had ever been.

Annette went to Elementary School there and that is where things started to get bitter around the house. Her mother wanted to take this well-payed job in America and her father had no intention in moving out of England. Things were hostile for a few months before her mother decided she wanted divorce. Annette never blamed her mother for her decision but she does despise her father for letting them go.

Upon moving to America, Annette began attending a local High School which since day one proved to be anything but an educational fascility. There were drugs and alchohol being sold and used on campus and all sorts of inappropriate behaviour, displayed by the students.

Next day Annette bought a pocket knife - it was the only way she could defend herself if anything happened. And things all came down to this: "Either them or me"
