I think it might work if they're almost just meeting each other, you know?
because Julia's history is:
Father - Real estate tycoon
Mother - Broadway performer
They want Julia to branch out and experience life out of their sheltering.
So, maybe her father arranges it that she lives with her half-brother.
1st rp could be their meeting.
