Last night the police reported that after an illegal party at the academy's swimming pool got a little rough, Parker Trent (17) was found face down in the pool with a broken neck. While the police are still investigating the accident, it is believed that he fell over the edge of the balcony seating and fell head first into the pool. There are claims to there being various bruising on Trent's body that could not have come from the fall so the students that were there are being tracked down and interviewed. Accident or not, the police are demanding that anyone involved with any information to come forward and confess. When those involved are found, justice will be served.
One Year Later...
[/size][/blockquote][/blockquote]The students of the Academy in London, England have been labeled as the ‘richest and most charmed’, a title that tends to fit them quite well. Sure there are the few students there on scholarship, but for the most part they’re all of London's elite. Most would say these kids have no idea what the real world is really like or how it would eat them alive if it could. But those people would be wrong about a certain group of teenagers that go to the academy. Last October tragedy hit the student body when a young man, Parker Trent, was found face down in the school’s swimming pool. No one knew how he got there, no one knew why he was there, all they knew was that he hadn’t been alone. There were bottles of unopened alcohol scattered along the pool side along with kick boards and floating devices in the water, towels on the poolside, even a few empty bottles that had been forgotten in the rush to get out. After an investigation of the student body turned up nothing, the school decided to put the tragedy behind them and just move on. Summer soon came and things went back to how they had always been.
But now there’s a new Headmaster, Gregory DuPont, and he has a new out look on things. Being promoted from an assistant to the previous Headmaster, he knows all about what went on last October and he plans to find out who was with Parker the night he died. And to do so, he is hiring a new Basketball coach, Tyler Masters. Tyler's, a student at the local university and a alumni of Phillips, only goal is to get close to the group of students that Parker hung out with in order to get down to the bottom of things. But as he pushes further into the group he learns things that would not only incriminate them but him as well. And the more he digs, the more he begins to fall for a certain girl who could be the link in the whole story of that night. But there’s a weak link within the group, one who thought they should have been honest from the beginning. Will they come forward and tell what really happened? Or will Tyler figure things out before they get the chance? One thing’s for certain. Things here are...
