Insides
Personality: Mason never learned the lesson 'When life throws you lemons, you make lemonade.' Growing up with all guys made you tough, hard to understand. Without female influence in her life, Mas didn't exactly know how to deal with the feelings she got; her emotions. So she began to do what most guys did...shut off and act like nothing was wrong, she was okay.
And she never really was.
Her therapist once told her that she had a 'destructive personality' and to this day, Mason never understood what that meant. She did things at full speed, never thinking before she acted. And sadly, she didn't see anything wrong with that.
Everything got worse when boys were introduced into her life. She'd use them just as much as they'd use her, tossing them aside when she felt they had served a purpose. She wasn't the relationship type, more the type for one-night stands. She guessed that made her a very slutty person. Oh well.

Outsides
Distinguishing Marks: She has a good amount freckles randomly placed throughout her body but really, nothing too huge.
Self Perception: Mason, like most girls, has those days when she can't stand herself. She'll wake up, look in the mirror, then want to puke. There are days when her hair is just too curly or too straight. Her eyes look too slanted and her nose too big. It's days like those that she wants to just curl up in bed and close her eyes, so tired of herself.
Other days though, Mas takes some pride in herself. She'll get up a little earlier, picking out a flattering outfit then taking some extra time to do her hair and make up. Sometimes she'll even put on a skirt, which was always an odd site.
She's a normal girl with her up and down days but overall, she's content with herself.
Appearance: When Mason was a little, she was a blonde haired, blue eyes beauty. Her skin was fair, dotted with freckles. But puperty hit, and her body changed. Her hair became dark brown and curly, which she hated with a passion. Her once light eyes turned into a green/brown color, still pretty but not like before. Her skin was still fair, and instead of gaining more freckles from being out in the sun...she got a nasty burn.
For a long while, Mas tried to take after her older brother and be one of the guys, but that didn't work so well as her body continued to develope curve and shape to it. Instead of being considered one of the boys, her brother's friends began to take some...different interests in her. For awhile, Mason hide her body behind baggy clothes, pulling her thick hair into a hat and hiding it there.
But then she changed again. She let her hair down, wore some make up, and began to wear fitting jeans and shirts. She went on dates, though she still enjoyed to toss a ball around with the guys...which just made her even hotter, right? She took up sports; softball, soccer, hockey, and track and kept herself in shape, slowly becoming happy with her girlish appearence.

History: The Walkers had started out as a normal family. Two people fell in love and 2 years later came Jesse. They moved, bought their first house, got a puppy, lived life. Then, 3 years later, out popped little Mason. Unplanned. They had only wanted one child. For Ray, it was love at first sight. But for Belinda...not so much.
The doctors had said that Belinda suffered from depression, that she had struggled with it throughout her life. When Mason was born, unplanned, it made the condition worsen and soon enough, the woman snapped. She had violent outbursts, and would sometimes leave for days without a word. When she came back, she was normal, though. Happy and carefree...until the whole process started over again.
The year Mason would never forget was when she was 10. For the Walker's, it was a challenging year. It started January 1st, as soon as the ball dropped. Belinda went into one of her moods, cussing up a storm and throwing china everywhere. Mason tried to dodge one of the plates but it ended up hitting her hip, leaving her a nice scar right across the bone. Belind locked herself in the bathroom and Ray had no choice but to call the police. When they got the door open, they found her slumped over the bathtub, bleeding. They saved her but that wasn't what she wanted. She didn't want to be saved.
Belinda was put in a mental hospital and was still there. Jesse refused to see her, but Ray would visit every now and then. Mason did the same, trying to reconnect with the mother she lost.
But that task seemed impossible.
