Insides
Personality:
Like everyone else would describe her, she has a bubbly personality with that sense of joy that seems to spread like wild fire into the hearts of everyone she has come into contact with. The teasing comments floating around are she could easily tame a lion just by speaking with it. As silly as it seems, and although she has never tried it, she teasingly responds that she probably could with a laugh attached. She beckons the happiness from the depths of your soul to flow freely though you, and you can't help but to allow these feelings to surface and immediately make you feel better about your own life.
Lauralee is a hard worker in both home and school life, finishing her homework early and completely. Being a sort of overachiever, she also tries to receive the high marks and extra credit as well. Although she strives for these, she does not carry herself with an attitude that is simply better than you because she spends all her free time either dancing or with her nose in a book. Heaven forbid she have a normal social life! She prefers pushing herself to her limits everyday, ever trying to accomplish something she hadn't been able to the day before simply to grow as a person rather than to show off for everyone else in her classes.
Genuinely a thoughtful person, if Lauralee sees someone in need with something she is familiarized with, she willingly drops everything she was doing to assist in the project or other endeavor you seem to be having problems with. There isn't a time or a place that Lauralee wouldn't give the shirt off her own back to help another person in need. Whether it's a complete stranger or someone she has known since she was little one running round in diapers, she would jump at the chance to lend a helping hand.

Distinguishing Marks:
Nothing major. She does have a few scars on her right forearm from when a dog attacked her at the tender age of four, but all wounds heal and thus she has forgotten all about the golden retriever who had taken a rather healthy chunk out of her arm. Also has a medium-sized birth mark on her hip shaped a bit like a star.
Self Perception:
Overall she believes she has a strong and level head on her shoulders, which will eventually bring her some sort of success when she plans to pursue a career on the performing stage, and if that doesn't pan out she will engage in a long thought out position as a dance instructor where she has learned everything she knows. Her attitude toward everything is mostly positive, and brings a sort of triumphant glow to her as well as others.
She is amazing at photography, one of the many reasons why she wants to be one. There is hardly a time when you don't see her with her camera; the Olympus E-3. Lauralee is constantly taking pictures all of which usually come out beautifully. Every day she takes loads of pictures and then spends most of her nights uploading the pictures to her laptop to edit/save them. At least, that's what used to lie in this girl's future...
Appearance:
Unlike most girls her age, her hair stays the same blonde/brown color in which she were born with and the long layers frame her face as though it were a fine masterpiece. Long and straight, she usually wears it up and away from her face in a wispy, messy bun because she is usually in the dance studio working on the choreography for the upcoming showing or concert. She lived for the dance world. Along with her love, she had balanced limbs which were toned to absolute perfection. Strong, and full of expression was her limber body, slender and actuate for the world she dreamed of being a part of. The eyes, almond shaped and pure set neatly on her freckled face, hanging flawlessly above her Irish nose. Although a crook resides in this nose, her face still blooms with character and expresses emotions as though it were the very best feeling on earth.
Moving back to her body, the figure is always carried with the up most respect for everything around it. Holding itself in high regard as though she were on stage day in and day out. However, none of this dance experience went to her head and forced her to grow an egotistical head, no... She keeps a level attitude toward everything in life. Her skin is fair and speckled with her Irish heritage, exposing how glorious her family roots truly are. Focusing now on her face, the cheekbones are set nicely below her eyes, set in their place as though keeping the nose company. Lips are plump and glowing pink from natural genes from her mother. The eyes matching the ocean in color, are usually ringed with dark eyeliner and the lashes soaked in mascara to match. This is the only phase she passes through every morning that conforms to all the various trends sweeping over the teen society.
Arriving on the apparel of this young girl, she is usually clad from head to toe in some sort of dance-themed ensemble unless, that is, she has decided to wear a simple tee and a pair of denim jeans. However, she always has those dance tights pulled tightly around her shapely legs, just in case an opportunity to practice arose in the middle of the school day, which out of more chances than not... it didn't. Her shoes normally consisted of a grungy pair of Converse shoes, black in color. She would mix things up by placing a pair of flip flops on, but more often then not she protected her feet with structured tennis shoes. "Those are going to be your money makers some day, Lauralee..." her mother would tease. She carried a pair of ballet slippers and a leotard in a gym bag so she could snag an hour or so on the stage in the theater the school had bought from the city to use in school functions such as plays and concerts. This stage was familiar to her, having performed on it since was a little girl in a pink tutu many years ago. These were the times she felt most comfortable in her own skin; being in front of hundreds of people with fluorescent lights shining in her eyes as everyone held their breath to see if she'd nail her quadruple pirouette.

History:
Born into a family of love and passion, Lauralee was birthed on a cool Autumn morning in mid-November at a local hospital near their home. From the very moment her parents laid eyes on her, they felt she was destined for greatness (as did a lot of parents when their children were born). She was promptly brought home from the hospital at a healthy 6 pounds 7 ounces and was cared for in the most tender of ways as she grew. With a mother, father and older brother to watch out for her, she grew into a well established young woman.
At the tender age of three, her mother took her to see The Nutcracker ballet, and even at such a young age Lauralee had fallen in love. She admired every aspect of the performance, from the entrances and exits on and off the stage to how the woman looked when that man twirled her around was sheer magic for the little girl. It was then that she had decided this is what she wanted to do with her life. Devote everything she had into becoming that girl dancing for a thousand plus on a brightly lit stage while everyone stared in awe as she performed, clapping in delight when she would finish. This... was her destiny.
After begging her mother for weeks after she had seen the ballet perform, she finally had given in to her little bundle of joy and signed her up for ballet classes. From that point on, she attended the school religiously, perfecting all of the steps, positions and counts her teacher inlaid in class every afternoon. She watched in awe as she began to learn new dances formations and phrases as though they were a familiar set of skin long buried in the depths of her muscles. This was what she lived for, being in the room with the performing floor with the wall to wall mirrors to analyze yourself as you performed.
This young tot grew into a well oiled dancing machine that enjoyed every second she had in that tiny room in the school which she still attends to this day. She has worked with the same instructor since was first introduced into the lifestyle of a ballerina, and she had become more like a second mother than a teacher. The two had began one on one meetings to work on her technique to help perfect the way she executed every millisecond of movement. Pruning and practicing her gift she believed was graced to her from birth, she would eat sleep and dream of the main stage and having thousands of people cheer for her stunning performance. However, the fame was not what she wanted. No, for her it was the rush and the feeling of performing for people and making then feel good about the craft of performing arts and the amount of time and energy it took to get each movement exactly right. She lived for that emotion welling in her throat as she entered with a simple turn that ended phenomenal with an entire crowd forever changed. She lived for the stage.
